Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern the relationship between YourTradePage ("we", "us", "our") and you, the client ("you", "your"), when you use our web presence service. Please read them carefully before proceeding. By accepting a design preview or making payment, you agree to these terms.

These terms constitute an agreement between you and YourTradePage, trading at www.yourtradepage.com.

2. The service

YourTradePage provides the following to clients:

• Registration or management of a domain name on your behalf.
• A professional email forwarding address at your domain.
• A single-page website built to your brief, hosted by us.
• Ongoing management, maintenance, and support for as long as your account remains active.

The service is intentionally built around a single web page. If your requirements extend beyond this, we will discuss options with you at the time.

3. Setup fee and payment

A one-off setup fee is payable upon your acceptance of the design preview. Your page will not be made live until payment has been received and confirmed. The current setup fee is £59.00, though we reserve the right to update pricing at any time. Any agreed price at the time of your order will be honoured regardless of subsequent changes.

Payment is currently accepted by bank transfer or card. We will always issue a clear invoice before payment is due.

4. Monthly subscription

Following setup, a monthly subscription of £14.50 covers your domain renewal (where applicable), hosting, email forwarding, and ongoing management. Payment is taken monthly in advance. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes to the monthly fee.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. On cancellation, your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your page will be taken offline and your account placed on hold. No refunds are issued for partial months.

If you wish to reinstate your account after cancellation, the setup fee current at the time of reinstatement will apply. This is currently £59.00.

5. Your domain

Where we register a new domain or transfer an existing domain on your behalf, a Cloudflare account will be created in your name and the login details provided to you. Your domain belongs to you.

If you wish to transfer management of your domain away from us at any time, we will assist with the transfer process at no charge.

6. Hosting, content, and ownership

We host your website on our infrastructure on your behalf as part of the monthly service. The content of your page - including the text, design, and any material you supply - belongs to you. Your domain also belongs to you at all times.

If you cancel your subscription, the managed hosting service ends and your page will be taken offline. This is not us withholding your property - it is simply the service ending, in the same way that cancelling any hosted service results in that service stopping.

You may request a copy of your page's HTML file at any time and we will provide it promptly and at no charge, so you are free to host it elsewhere should you wish.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or remove content that we reasonably believe to be unlawful, misleading, or in breach of these terms, without prior notice.

7. Changes to your page

Your monthly subscription includes 1 free change request per year. Additional changes beyond your allowance are charged at a flat rate of £5 per request. Change requests are submitted through your client portal and carried out by us on your behalf.

8. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when setting up and maintaining your account.
• Keep your client portal login details secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• Ensure all content you supply is truthful, lawful, and does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Pay invoices promptly in accordance with these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

We will always endeavour to keep your page live and your service running smoothly. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and accept no liability for losses arising from downtime, third-party provider failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you in connection with this service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. If you cancel your monthly subscription, no refund will be issued for the current billing period already paid. If we terminate the agreement for reasons other than your breach of these terms, we will refund any subscription fees paid for the unused portion of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are in breach of these terms, without prior notice where necessary.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England, Wales, and Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
